Nicole is a published author, health writer, and personal essayist. Her first book, Courageous Well-Being for Nurses, was published by Johns Hopkins University Press in September 2023. Her personal pieces have been featured in The Cut, Maria Shriver’s Sunday Paper, and Jane Friedman. She has a memoir-in-progress with Book Inc where she delves into her experiences with traumatic loss, grief, and surviving leukemia. She also writes on Substack, “Worrying Well.”
