NICOLE C. FOSTER
Health Tech Professional
Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach
Author & Writer
Nicole's career centers on one thing: a deep understanding of health and well-being.
She earned her Master's in Psychology from Columbia University's Spirituality Mind-Body Institute, then became a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach.
She began her career in health tech coaching children, adults, and families navigating complex mental health conditions, before moving into the wearable space with a grounding in HRV biofeedback. Since then, she's led coaching teams, redesigned a clinically-supported coaching program, and managed research partnerships that led to JAMA publications. In parallel, she has taken on consulting work in women's health, including piloting a group support program for women navigating fertility journeys.
Early in her career, she collaborated on a project supporting nurses that evolved into co-authoring Courageous Well-Being for Nurses, published by Johns Hopkins University Press in 2023.
Outside of health tech, Nicole writes personal essays exploring loss, grief, and illness. She is also a trained trauma-informed yoga teacher and teaches classes in her small New Jersey beach town.
